Grabaroo Reviews – Is a Scam?

Grabaroo Reviews – Is a Scam?

 - The reviews show that this is an auction site with a twist. Instead of bidding up items you actually watch as the price of an item falls and when it hits the right price you grab it up! It is a neat concept and can be a great deal of fun. There are some deals to be had on this site but it seems to lack some of the deals on big ticket items that you can find at a site like Auction Resource

All the items on start at the MSRP (manufacturers suggested retail price) which is largely inflated. As more people join the room the price comes further down. Each person has the ability to grab the item when it hit’s a lower price.

It is kind of like a game show atmosphere that you have to pay to attend. Each month members are given 300 credits to bid with. Membership is $29.99 per month. They are offering a 7 day free trial period, which gives you an opportunity to get a feel for things and see if this site is right for you.

The Site

The Grabaroo reviews show that the  site itself is well laid out, but I still couldn’t quite grasp how things worked. There is a video tutorial that can teach you how things work but honestly I think that is a lot to have to deal with to buy something.

The FAQ’s were not informative at all. As a matter of fact I found them to be quite vague. They just did not address any of my questions, they were directed at current members and mostly gave information about shipping.

This website does the automatic billing, that I don’t like because it seems that most people have a huge problem trying to stop the billing. Each month until you cancel you will be charged $29.99 whether you shop or not. Your 300 credits do not roll over from one month to another so you can’t save them up over time.  The cost seemed a bit high considering you are not being guaranteed anything for your $29.99 per month and than having to deal with trying to get the auto pay to stop,  really seems like a hassle.

They had some decent inventory, and to be frank if you have the extra time and money it looks like you could get some good stuff on the cheap. I think mainly the deal is with getting the items you really want is to be patient and hang in there.

Bottom Line

It looks like fun and for $29.99 a month it may be worth a chance.

Subscription Price: $29.99 per month

Geography: Nationwide

Number of Items: Around 20-30 per day

Overall, the reviews show that this is a viable site and is not a scam, however it lacks some of the deals on big ticket items that you could find at a site like Auction Resource.
